En 2003, nous avons achevé des travaux à des normes exceptionnelles sur un appartement annexé à notre propre maison, destiné aux locations de vacances.

Suite à son succès, 2006 a vu l’achèvement de 2 nouveaux appartements meublés, et une piscine à 9 mètres. La nouvelle "Résidence du Petit Puits" se situe dans un quartier tranquille à 20 minutes à pied du centre-ville magnifique de La Rochelle, et à 2 pas des commerces, et des cafés.

In 2003, we completed work on a small self-catering apartment as an annexe to our own home, and made it available as holiday accommodation.

Due to its success, in 2006 we had two brand new apartments built next to our house, and also installed a 9 metre swimming pool. The development, renamed "La Residence du Petit Puits" (pronounced Pwee), which means Residence of the Little Well, is situated in a quiet suburb of La Rochelle, twenty minutes leisurely walk from the stunning city centre, and two minutes from local shops and cafes.

Idéal surtout pour les couples, le petit studio a 14m2 (l'appartement 1) a un salon avec canapé-lit à 2 personnes, coin cuisine et salle douche.

Les appartements 2 et 3 (chacun d'environ 30 m²) comprennent une chambre à 2 pers, un salon/salle à manger avec un canapé-lit à 2 pers, kitchenette, salle douche et wc. Les appartement peuvent coucher une famille de 4 personnes, ou 2 couples.

Il y a des parkings gratuits à l'extérieur, et un jardin ensoleillé avec des barbecues pour tous les appartements. Les appartements se situent dans un environnement agréable - vous vous sentirez vraiment chez vous lorsque vous connaissez et explorez la région, sans supporter les frais excessifs des hôtels.

Vous aurez une télévision et système satellite avec des chaînes françaises, anglaises et européenes via satellite, plus une lecteur DVD.

Nous serons a coté si vous avez des problèmes, ou besoin des conseils sur les évènements, restos, bars, cabinets immobiliers, etc.

Particularly ideal for couples, the baby studio of 14m2 in size (apartment 1) consists of a sitting room with a raised area at one end with a kitchenette and shower room.

Apartments 2 and 3 (each approx 30 m²) each consist of one double-bedroom, a salon (lounge) with kitchenette and sofa bed, and a shower-room and toilet. The apartments can comfortably sleep two couples.

There is ample parking for at least one vehicle per flat just outside the apartment, and an attractive secluded garden with room to sit, enjoy the sun almost all year round or have a barbeque. The apartments are in extremely pleasant surroundings and are an excellent, homely base from which to explore this thriving and beautiful town without the hefty hotel charges.

You will have a TV and satellite system offering a huge range of French, UK, European and world channels. Each apartment has a slightly different system, but wherever you stay you will have access to English channels, including UK BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Children's and News channels.

As they adjoin our own home, we will always be around to help you with finding your way around, finding the best places to eat and drink (no shortage there!), the important things to see, where to find the best estate agents for those of you having a sneaky look around for possibilities, etc...
